Asha and Boppana are in their 60s, living in Bangalore, retired from their jobs. Where Asha was working as a stenographer in a government office, Boppana was working in LIC. Until retirement, they were living a hectic yet comfortable life. Both their children are settled and came to visit them during the holidays. The focus here is on not only miniating the health condition of the residents but also providing them with a happy environment.

Old age homes:

Old age home is more like traditional shelters which accommodate the elders who have no one to take care of and are truly homeless elderly. These old age homes are usually run by various charitable organizations or the local or national governing body. These homes are mostly free of cost but only provide the basic necessities for the elderly. This is a good option for those who don’t have much budget.

As elders require more care their place of living must be well research and thought of. Factors like medical care, recreational activities, location, etc must be considered before finalizing the senior living homes.
